One conversation per customer. Not one per channel.
A chat window on your site and an inbox in your panel. If your visitor leaves before you answer, the same conversation continues by e-mail — no second ticket, no second history.
What it is
A widget on your site and an inbox in the panel. You see who is on which page right now, where they came from and what they asked before — without having to ask.
If nobody answers because it is the middle of the night, the widget says so and asks for an e-mail address. Your reply arrives by mail, and with it your visitor reopens the same conversation, with everything that was already there.
Attachments are allowed: images and PDFs, checked on what is actually inside the file and not just on its name. One screenshot often saves three messages.
Why you don't need a cookie banner
As long as your visitor doesn't open the chat, we put nothing on their device and read nothing from it. No cookie, no storage, no fingerprint. That we can still tell them apart from another visitor is something we do on our own server, with a key that changes every day.
Once they do start chatting, their browser keeps exactly one thing: the ticket they use to find their own conversation again. Without it every page is a new conversation and chat is unusable. That is the exception, it is strictly necessary, and it is the only one.
That distinction — us on the server, and that one ticket only after your visitor acts — is what the exemption in article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act is about. What we don't claim: that YOUR site is done because of it. We can only promise what we do.
What we deliberately don't do
No robot pretending to be a person. Nobody answers here who isn't there; if your team is offline, the widget says so instead of keeping someone talking.
No training of models on your customers' conversations. Not now, and it isn't a checkbox someone can flip later.
No American middlemen. Chat runs on our own servers in Europe, and whoever else is involved is listed in the data processing agreement — that list is short, and that is the point.
No per-conversation billing and no credit that runs out mid-month. A busy week should be good news.
Honest about what it is
We call that daily key pseudonymous, not anonymous. As long as you can tell visitors apart within a day, you can by definition tell someone apart — others write “anonymous” here, and it isn't.
A conversation is also not a statistic: it contains whatever someone types, and that can be anything. So transcripts stay 90 days by default and no longer, attachments go when they go, and you can set that period shorter yourself.
And if you can read along while someone is still typing — you can — then your visitor's window says that you can. We don't build features that only work while the other person is unaware.
What will Chat cost?
Slide to the number of conversations you expect per month. One flat amount for your whole organisation — not per team member and not per conversation.

During the beta you pay nothing. The amounts above show where we are heading; they are not settled yet, and you will hear well in advance if anything changes.

The compliance kit is included
You are the controller for the conversations on your site and we are your processor. That takes paperwork, and the paperwork is ready instead of something you have to ask for. You will find it in the panel with your widget settings, next to the field where you set your retention period.
- A data processing agreement in Dutch and English, with the eight elements of Article 28 and the sub-processor list as an annex. That list holds one party: the one supplying our server. None outside Europe.
- A text block for your own privacy statement that you may copy verbatim — with, per paragraph, why it is worded that way and what you must fill in yourself.
- A technical description of what the widget stores and when, what remains after your retention period and what does not, usable as an annex to a DPIA.
- A screen for handling a visitor's request: search by email address, export their conversations as a file, and delete them — with a log line saying who, when and how many, and never what.
The documents were drafted by us and have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer; it says so at the top of each one. Until that changes, read them before you use them. Want to see them before signing up? Email us.
What it costs
During the beta Vyniq Chat costs nothing. After that it becomes one flat amount per month for your whole organisation: no price per conversation, no quota you run into halfway through the month. The calculator above shows where we are heading.
- Free during the beta. No credit card, and no end date we quietly put in your calendar.
- Unlimited team members. We don't charge per person, so you don't have to keep anyone out of the inbox.
- No price per conversation. A busy week costs the same as a quiet one.
- Cancel monthly. No notice period, no conversation about it.
The amounts in the calculator are provisional and are only settled when the beta becomes a paid service; they are in euros, including 21% VAT.
Let us know you're waitingVyniq Chat is almost there, but not yet: you can't sign up. We already run it ourselves — the window in the bottom right of this page IS one. Mail us and you'll hear when it opens.
